Distance: 16.4 miles
Max speed: 18.2 mph
Average speed: 16.0 mph

Extra activities: two fast walks, stretching, light session of core strengthening

Total Training Distance: 773.7 miles
Total Time on trainer: 5.5 hours
Weight: 186.0 lbs

Now this is a little more like it. The first third of this ride was slow as my legs were sore. The second third was just getting into a good rhythm. And, the last third, I felt good and was able to push myself. I can build on this.
